We are looking into switch our Microsoft Office suite from the MS CDN version to the MAS (Mac App Store) version. I have switched a few test users over last month and things are going good.

We normally test out all new versions of an app a week before pushing it out to the masses. I know that the MAS version of Office doesn't offer the "Insider Channel", but was wondering how others are handling this. How are others doing a "Test period" for new releases of Office when using MAS and JAMF auto update feature?

The bits between the CDN and MAS are effectively the same. I suggest you use the CDN deployment to take advantage of Insider Slow and test with it. You can decide if using the MAS for your production users is worth the second method of distribution.
