Hi all,

We have one MacBook that will boot to NetBoot, then re image.

However on first boot the first run script does not run & if you manage to login to it you can only connect to port 80 websites.

Trying to connect to the JSS or any port 443 site results in Safari giving an error that it cannot connect.

Time is correctly set on the mac, so it's not that & the image is & has been used on many other macs.

I'm thinking a hardware issue, but seems odd that it works on a NetBoot.

Thoughts?

Are you using HTTP to serve the .nbi? What if you change it to only serve over AFP? Can you netboot then?

Hi Andrew,

It does NetBoot & image, just 1st run fails & it has issues connecting to secure sites.

All secure sites, or just intranet or extranet? If you do a jamf recon -verbose, what do you get?

All.

Last time I ran sudoku JAMF recon -verbose I just got the error "could not connect up the JSS).

Sorted.. completely over complicated this fix too..

RESET P-RAM worked!

Should've taken a step back & retried the basics.. doh!

is sudoku a hidden command? 😉 gotta love auto-correct!

ha ha awesome!

Lol!, sudoku, is that like 'cal' except it prints out a sudoku board? That's a good one! @ben, don't correct that. Needs to be preserved for humor's sake! :)

Sudoku is #138 of the 137 new features added to Casper Suite 9.
