Hey folks,

I'm working to come up to speed with the details surrounding Active Directory binding, particularly as it is handled in Yosemite. Google returns a LOT of older resources, but (unless I'm mistaken?) since Apple has made several changes to the process in the past couple of versions, I'm having trouble finding out what's relevant & what might be outdated.

Can any of you good people suggest good resources for learning the ins and outs of the AD binding process, specifically the details of negotiating the connection itself?

Apple White Paper

It can be a lonesome and dangerous road to travel though. Clearly AD integration is NOT a priority of Apple's given their releases over the years (customers seem to be their QA team). It can be quite a challenge to have a consistent approach across releases. Best of success!

Thanks, good info. Wish we could ditch AD, but such is life...
