Is there a way within JSS to scope a policy to a subset of managed devices (via Segment) as well as to Administrators? I'd like all policies to show up in Self Service for our Admin group (via AD group membership) as well as the specific managed clients the policy should be available to. Hoping to do this without scripting…

In my testing it seems to be either, not both. So then it takes me to the potential of duplication of policies so that there is one that is scoped to the specific managed clients and one for the administrator group with the same rules.

Thoughts?

    Yeah just scope to group, or smart group and then add an AD group,

    I do this, not with segments but a smart group and an AD group

    For example an AD technicians group and a smart group of computers that are in a project studio

    I'll try this again. I haven't been successful in getting this scoping to
    work (7.2x). Thanks for the feedback.
