The JDS and Netsus are separate servers and offer separate services but I think that distinction is a good one to go over. For more indepth NetSUS knowledge bombs be sure to attend the NetSUS session

I understand that they're separate servers hosting separate services... my point is just that it would be good to hear people's thoughts on scaling an infrastructure now utilizing non Apple hardware to host services like netboot, SUS, Casper Dist point, etc. Example: comparing the pros and cons of choosing JDS (can't run on Windows) vs a standard dist point (can run on anything).
