We have a Configuration Profile that gets removed every day by a "Remove Configuration"which triggers our profile to reinstall every day. Not sure what parameter is causing this. The profile is scoped to machines that don't have a certain certificate. Why would a Remove Configuration push happen to a machine that had the certificate and wasn't in the scope?

Remove Configuration happens unintentionally
+4+7It may be a variation on a problem that plagued us for a while. In our scenario we had a profile that was scoped to all devices but hadn't installed properly on some devices. We removed the scope, waited a while and scoped it back to all devices again. The devices that were online correctly removed the profile and reinstalled it when we added the scope back. The devices that were offline removed the profile when they came back on line but didn't reinstall it.
