Removing a user from a Shared iPad?

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in order to remove a user from a Shared iPad? A staff member has left recently and we need to remove their user data from the Shared iPads that belong to their department.

Is it possible to just remove the user, or will I have to wipe the iPads?

Thanks,

Do you have it set in Jamf that the user can "login" to that device?
You should be able to remove the user in the JSS from having the ability to login.

Also, the user will be removed depending on the cache limit. If it's set that iPad will store 10 user sessions, then the user will be removed on the 11th.

Failing that, reset is the way to go!

Is this what you're looking for? It's under Inventory, Shared iPad Users

If I understand it correctly, this will delete all of that user info from that particular device.

@cleverleys

Are you or anyone having the issue where the 11th user IS NOT removing a user. I have classes that have reached the cache limit set in the PreStage and then the iPad just denies any additional user.

Yes, it happens for us too until the iPad is full and not usable! We have 5 users set in the PreStage.
