How does your school handle damaged iPads in JAMF?

I would like to identify the broken iPads in JAMF while the device remains in inventory.

For example, we have iPad Carts in our Lower School. One gets damaged and is not replaced right away. I do want to keep the iPad in JAMF until the cart is refreshed.

Anyone have an some ideas about how to identify them in JAMF as being decommissioned or removed from service?

I use an Extension Attribute named “Fate of Device”. It is left blank for ones in production. I made it a pull down menu though with “Returned for Service” and “Lost or Stolen”
