Replicating Distribution Points

Something is wrong with that distribution point most likely that is causing it to be unmountable. Attempt to mount to the distribution point manually. My guess is you can't because the distribution point is either down or misconfigured. Correct the problem so that you can mount the volume manually. Once you get that cleared up, attempt a replication again and you should be ok.

Since updating to 9.65 we have two DP's that mount successfully during replication on some Macs but not others...
All machines are running 10.10.3
You can se the volume mount in /Volumes (since the update Casper mounts have been hidden from the general GUI).
It appears to mount twice (as you see a -1 file show up and then disappear again as well).
If you then manually eject and then try again, after a few goes of cycling through this it will successfully mount and replicate.
The sites are fairly remote sites for us but have plenty of bandwidth.

Just to be sure, is this share already mounted when you're opening Casper Admin? If so, that may be the cause of this message.

In our case it's definitely not mounted before hand. Just seems to be somewhat hit or miss, it almost seems to mount the share and then for whatever reason thinks it needs to try and do it again and fails to mount because it's already mounted, if that makes sense...
I have noticed that Casper Admin also does this on first open occasionly as well (although it's harded to tell if it's already mounted here as I never really look prior to opening it).

Casper Admin is really picky on passwords. 9.65 got worse in this department, apparently. Make sure you only use alphanumeric characters in passwords.

Failing that, in the JSS where you define the distribution points, remove the DNS name and enter the IP address of the DP. Another "feature" of 9.65.
