Hello Everyone,
I am drawing a blank and would like some guidance.
We have a special branded login window background and it works great. However, when a computer receives the 10.14.6 update from Apple, this login window file is reset back to Apple's default.
If I restart the computer, this will fix the problem. Is there a way to restart the login window so a restart isn't needed? I hate to kick off people from their computers to apply this "fix."
On this topic, is there a way to "lock" this file so it can't be replaced by the updater? I believe I tried this years ago but without much success as Apple's installer just blows past this.
