Scheduling task after office hours

Hello People,
Where can i find documentation about scheduling jobs after office hours.
so that the computers start at let say 22:00, get their updates and go down again.
Not from sleep mode, but from shutdown state.

So just looking for a strategy to pull this of.

In a policy, you can set 'Client-Side Limitations' (look at General, at the bottom). And say 'Do Not Run between 8am and 8pm', for example.

Now on the client side, you can go to System Prefs -> Energy Saver -> Schedule and click 'Start up or Wake' and set your schedule. Then have it go to sleep or shutdown at 2am.. Or in policy have it shutdown.

That should accomplish what you are looking for. Note that the 'Shutdown or Sleep' in energy saver may cause a problem is a user is actually working at 2am and you have a shutdown there...
