Hi there - I note that teachers can create classes in Apple's Schoolwork app which creates classes in Apple School Manager. Is there a way to prevent teachers creating classes in Schoolwork using Jamf (or any other method)?

You could Create a JAMF Pro User Group - Teachers, assign Group Privileges as required. JAMF Pro Server Objects - Classes!

Thanks for the response. Good idea, however these 'users' are not Jamf users they are users in the sense that they have been created in Apple School Manager, appear in 'Users' in Jamf and associated with devices. Not sure there is a way to assign privileges to this sort of user, so I'm hoping there's another way?

I have found the answer - so logging it here in case it helps others. The setting is in Apple School Manager>Roles>Instructor>Create and Edit Classes - turn it off and wait a few minutes.
