I'm looking to set OneDrive aliases as shortcuts in Finder Favorites but most solutions on here see to be using now deprecated OSX features to accomplish this. All of my Macs are running Mojave. Has anyone been able to accomplish this by editing com.apple.finder.plist?

@iam18, have a look at the mysides binary by @mosen. May still work. I know removing still does…

I have a script that 'migrates' a users Desktop and Documents folder to OneDrive then creates aliases in their place. I used MySides to remove the old sidebar links then replace with the new ones. Havent tested on Catalina but it worked on Mojave.

@Tangentism Would you be willing to share your script? I'm trying to accomplish the same thing of moving Desktop and Documents to OneDrive and symlinking back and placing them back in the Favorites. I'm sure there's a more elegant way of doing it than what I have.
