+11We are trying to prestage our iPad deployments and have them enroll through DEP, but we would also like to start deploying Apps once enrolled. Smart groups are the way that we have decided to do device based App deployment. We would like to use a list of serial numbers in a text file or CSV. Has anyone else done the same thing or have a better solution? Maybe a Python script using the API?

+15I donno about iPads, but when I used a PreStage on Mac OS X, I set the Department to 'DEPMACHINE'. Then I created a smart group of all machines of that department. Then I ran a policy that would prompt the user for their ID and assign the machine appropriately. I don't know anything about iOS.....
+11We have almost 6000 iPads, so a single Smart Group for all would not work. This is strictly an iOS question.
