Hey all,
So we use a set of firmware passwords to secure our systems from students but from time to time we need to reset the PRAM on these machines. I wanted to script this so our techs could quickly run a pram reset without having to disable the firmware passwords, but I can only get it to work in Mavericks with the ```
sudo nvram -c
``` command. I found various other commands that don't seem to actually work in Lion or Mountain Lion and was hoping someone here knows how.
Other commands that I see not working on 10.7-10.8 are ```
sudo nvram -d boot-argsand the
sudo nvram -p -r
``` command that used to work in 10.6.8.
I just test this theory by adjusting the volume to mute then run the command and see if the chime happens at reboot.
Thanks for any info provided!
