Grace and peace to all,

We currently have Sel-Service+ enabled in our QA environment.  It is blocking access to corporate resources when the Mac is connected to a VPN.  We use Zscaler.  I cannot find any documentation on Sel-Service+ configuration.  It is using our JAMF Connect license and profile.   Do we need to register Self-Service+ as an application in Entra?

Self Service+ is just an app to display items from Jamf Pro or information from Jamf Connect or Jamf Protect, if either of those is installed. It doesn’t have any capabilities to block anything.

What are you noticing that leads you to believe it’s blocking access to corporate resources?

Self-Service+ uses the information from the JAMF Connect profile.  JAMF Connect menu bar is going away. If I remove Self-Service+ and reinstall the JAMF Connect profile then everything works fine.  It is related to the integration of Self-Service+ and JAMF Connect in my opinion and testing.

Is your Zscaler software configured to look for the presence of Jamf Connect as part of its security profile? That’s the only thing I can guess that changes with your VPN software.

Self Service+ has no ability to manage or block network access.
