When I have students open Self Service and try to download an app Self Service gets stuck on Running Policy.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?

Yes, we switched to the new app and this doesn't happen anymore (at least not as often.)
What is the 'new app'? The app you were installing or a newer version of Self Service?
I am having the same issue. Any resolution? This is only happening with one user so far.
Yes, the issue we where have had to do with the clients having an older version of the JAMF binary than what the JSS was running. When we updated the clients to the same version as the JSS everything works fine.
