FYI, confirmed this with JAMF support and have a Defect-ID.
When you "Show Plan" it just shows a couple lines, like "install <name of package>" and "Run Recon" - doesn't show any details like policy trigger, scope, et. al. I use this all of the time just to confirm that my policy is going to do what I think it should be doing ;)
The workaround for now is to use the Settings->General Settings->Summary to show all of your policies...
