Hoping for some advice or guidance...

So it seems our MacBooks running high sierra are bound to the domain, we are seeing an increase in login time from boot.

Fresh out the box MacBook running high sierra, bound to our domain using directory utility. user account converted from network to mobile. Reboot... login times upwards of a minute.

Remove from domain, still mobile account... login time is around 16 seconds.

This is only seems to be happening with machines running high sierra.

Any ideas?

so ive not tried this myself but a friend was having a similar issue and got a resolution with;

sudo /usr/bin/defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.loginwindow DSBindTimeout -int 10

Let us know if it works after testing of course :)
