Snow Leopard Image Hangs (Casper Imaging 8.52)

I built a vanilla Snow Leopard image based on 10.6.8, captured it with composer 8.52, and am deploying it with Casper Imaging 8.52. After the install, it hangs and never boots (it never passes the Apple logo screen with the spinner).

I know it is not an issue with the image as it is fine when restoring with Disk Utility. Additionally, no errors are generated in the imaging logs. The only unique thing about our image is a script we run t reboot to run the setup assistant to run.

Any ideas what might be happening?

    Further testing show it to be one of our packaged apps causing this. It's either Office (likely because it is a custom package) or the HP Print Driver package.
