+21Previously duplicate machines in the Sophis Enterprise Console used to be fixed in the /etc/smb.conf by specifying the workgroup.
Unfortunately in Mac OS 10.8+ there is no /etc/smb.conf
At the mo there is no fix and i had to spread to 3 different people at Sophos to explain what the problem is.

+21cheers mate. Unfortunately our SEC (Sophos Enterprise Console) is on Windows
10.8.1 client when entered with that says
No operation specified nor update requested

+27I ran into this issue myself so I thought I would post what has seemed to work in early testing.
Modify this file in the package that you intend to deploy for your Sophos AV installation:
SophosAntiVirus.mpkg/Contents/Packages/SophosRMS.mpkg/Contents/Resources/agent.configuration
It should look similar to this:
