Hello,
We are doing our 1 to 1 roll out this week so we're trying to get our ducks in a row. All of our students are standard users on OS 10.6.8. We are sure to have teachers that would like to have everyone in their class to have the same app from the app store. As of now when they click install it says that you need an admin name and password to allow the app store to make changes. Does anyone know of a way to let standard user download apps, or any way around it. What do you other companies and school districts do in this situation. I noticed that standard users can download music from Itunes. I also know a similar situation where we want our standard users to be able to install printers from home. In that situation you can push out a script through casper to allow it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
