I am receiving this message with some of our managed devices trying to push over our profile configs. Any ideas? I've looked around a bit and didn't find a solid answer for this error.

Have just come across this error also! 1 out of 2 config profiles failed.

It occurred at time of re-imaging (post image).

Can I join the club too? Although it seems to be random. I'm working on a keychain issue and wiping out the keychain folder also wipes out our user and machine certs. So I'm issuing a removemdmprofile and mdm to get the profiles back and 1 or 2 or 3 will crash or they will all go through. If I manually issue (yuk) the 2 commands, all profiles come back w/o crashing. Very strange.

Ok after further review: It's a timing thing (at least for me). My Mac's were rebooting too fast and causing the profiles not to get installed. Added a 50 second sleep and it seems to be good now.
