Anyone know what this does? Com.apple.ubd

Seems to just fill errors in the logs (with a lot of mobileme references). Is this something I can disable?

Yeah, that's the same as the "man" page for ubd.

ubd is the iCloud synchronization daemon / local sync helper - iCloud documents will sync across a local network if the devices are on the same network (much like Dropbox does), rather than going to the network.

All the APIs for iCloud storage refer to "ubiquity storage" (eg, NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore, isUbiquitousItemAtURL:, URLForPublishingUbiquitousItemAtURL:expirationDate:error:, and do on).

I've seen threads of people complaining of errors and spurious logs after changing from MobileMe to iCloud
