Any advice on installing Java Version 7 Update 51?

I have tried running the installer as a logout policy as well as a self service policy. The Java plugin was not detected by either browser in either method even though the installer succeeded.

What's the error you're getting? I've just downloaded and deployed Java 7 Update 51 on 3 computers and it worked fine for me.
