I am new to Casper and JSS. I am in need to bring up all versions of OS 10.11.1-5 to 10.11.6. I have downloaded the installation packages from Apple. I am checking to see what is the best practice that is recommended? 1. Do I use snapshot to install the update on my system and then package it that way and make push it to users?
2. Do I just drop the downloaded package in Casper Admin and it is already properly formatted and I can scope it to the machines that needs it?
3. Do I perform the updates one at a time or an I just jump to 10.11.6 right away and it includes all the other previous updates?

You need the 10.11.6 Combo Updater located here:
https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1885?locale=en_US
which will take every previous version of 10.11 up to 10.11.6
Incremental updates will only go from previous to next: 10.11.2 will only update 10.11.1 up to 10.11.2
COmbo updates will take any version to the version of the Combo Updater.
Yes, you can open the DMG and drop the enclosed .pkg installer right into Casper Admin.

In case you forgot, do not forget the El Capitan Security Update for 10.11.6, located at: [https://support.apple.com/kb/dl1891?locale=en_US](link URL)

Your best bet would be to create a software update policy.
That looks like this:

Thank you all for the good pointers. Ashleysoap, as far as the Policy, I use the cumulative package as well as the Security patches on the same policy. So basically click on Packages and have them done together? Also, is it best to scope it at log off or make it available in Self Service?
