Hi folks, My requirement is to uninstall any existing version of citrix receiver and restarting the machine. after that it should install the new version of citrix. how can i configure a policy for this?

+25@msatheesh You're going to need more that one Policy if you want a restart between the uninstall of the older version and the installation of the new. If you have Citrix Receiver installed on all of your machines you could do it in two steps with two Smart Groups and two Policies. Here's how I'd outline the process: The first step would be a Smart Group whose criteria was the old version of Citrix Receiver was installed, and you'd use that Smart Group to Scope the Target of a Policy that did an uninstall, updated inventory, then restarted. The 2nd step would be a Smart Group whose Criteria was that the latest version of Citrix Receiver was installed, and a Policy to install Citrix Receiver with a Target Scope of all your machines, but Excluding the 2nd Smart Group.
