Im trying to update our Universal Type Client from ver 3.0.1 to 3.1.0 but unable to locate where I can kill off the existing UTS client. Get an error when I try to run update.

+38Try running the upgrade at login or logout when the FM Core is not running. You might also try running the Uninstall package and then the install.
+10The official UTC-removal-tool deletes pretty much everything, including fonts cached locally at /Library/Extensis/UTC (it might take quite a long time to re-download them) and preferences while re-installing/updating the client should leave them alone.

+3Carlo, I did remove the Extensis folder in the Library and the older version of the Application itself. I will next try sending command to kill the FM Core, didnt think of that one
