Is there a way to set a service agreement policy through Casper so all devices display a message before the login screen ?

Same thing as what mm2270 said. That's what we use.

You can also have an ext. att. check the last modified date of the file to make sure everyone has the same one.

We use this too, but be warned that it is a bit buggy. It would sometimes display the agreement window twice (once before logging in and once after logging in, before loading the user's desktop), and very rarely it will lock up and not recognize clicks on the Agree button, requiring a restart.

10.8.2 supposedly fixed the first issue, and I have seen a couple lockups myself.

I'm actually seeing the policy banner appear TWICE also. The macs i'm managing are all 10.8.2 and all have FileVault 2 enabled.

Could that be the case ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

little tip though... do not manage the login window message via mcx or config profile.

Instead use defaults write for a one liner discalmer and look at the above link to implement the AUP
