So, I did the Bash command via script/policy to wipe and re-install Big Sur. No issues on the first machine but an upgrade from Catalina gave me issues. I'm now at a login screen which has the username System Administrator and is asking me to enter a new password. Easy enough, but no matter what complex password I type, it just shakes and doesn't like it. Any ideas? I have no idea what this account is. We never use something called System Administrator.

I am in a somewhat similar situation. It has only started recently where we log into the mac and the "Current User" appears as "System Administrator".

Were you able to resolve your issue?
