+2Hi! I am the Tech. Training Director for NISD. I would like my MDM Specialist to be able to attend events with locals who are using jamf to manage iOS devices. However, my MDM Specialist is a paraprofessional so the hours that these meetings have been scheduled for (November and this one) are after hours and not something I can allow.
Is there any energy in having a usergroup meeting during work hours? We have a location and are willing to host.

I'm glad you have taken interest in our Meetups. These events are meant to be informal and social in nature. Everyone is welcome regardless of their title and or experience. We would like to think of these events as a place where you can share your thoughts, and in the event of a problem, possibly pick someone else's brain. I too have a K-12 background but the group is not limited nor geared to Education entities but to the technical roles we are all passionate about and support. If something more formal is what you are interested in, please feel free to contact me offline. As for your staff who are interested, they are more than welcome to attend our social function as a learning experience and to meet others that share the same ideas.

As Felipe mentioned, the meet ups are informal but very useful. That said, one of the advantages of these meetings is to get to know others who might be facing the same challenges or have already resolved something you might be struggling with. Many of the admins will allow your MDM specialist to visit their institution and share ideas and best practices. Feel free to reach out to any of us if this is something you might be interested in.
