We currently have a few machines with 10.10 in the wild at the university I work for. They are in active directory so we've already experienced the 50% boot issue (which thankfully will be resolved in 10.10.3 I hear). However, another issue I hear reports of are with users who claim after waking their laptops from sleep, their password doesn't work or that when they try to login, nothing happens. They often times have to hard reboot or wait a significant amount of time before the laptop will respond in order to login. I know this was an issue in the earlier releases of Mavericks but I haven't been able to find any reports of it on Yosemite.
I know this isn't much information other than laptops 10.10 and in AD, but I was just curious if anyone had come across this in their environment. I've yet to see it first hand so I can't determine if it is truly an OS issue, an AD problem or a few fluke cases. By the time I hear of it, our technicians have already downgraded the machine to resolve it or it happens only when the user is off campus (hinting towards a possible AD issue?)
I welcome any thoughts on this.
Thanks!
