Evolver is seeking Apple User Experience and MDM Engineer to work in Washington, D.C. 

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide expertise in the management and administration of Apple Mac OS X and iOS technologies in a Federal Government enterprise environment. Also, as a minimum, shall be responsible for:

• Developing, deploying, and maintaining Mac OS X and iOS configuration settings using the JAMF Software Casper Suite
• System Administration of cloud hosted instance of JAMF Software Casper Suite that supports approximately 3,000 apple end points (including iPhones, iPads, Mac Desktops and Laptops, and Apple TVs).
• Providing Tier III support for the configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Mac OS X and iOS systems and applications.

• Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Information Technology experience with Bachelor Degree or equivalent.
  • 3 years of experience of Tier II support of Mac OS X systems.
  • 3 years of experience of Tier III support of Mac OS X and iOS systems
  • Hands-on expertise with configuring and administering Mac OS X 10.13 or newer systems in Windows environment.
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills

   

• • Technical Requirements:

    • Perform day-to-day Apple support activities and processes to deliver enterprise-wide technical support services for Apple systems and applications.
    • Utilize the help desk reporting and tracking system to document ticket acceptance and problem resolution.
    • Deploy Apple and 3rd-party software updates using the JAMF Casper Suite.
    • Develop schedules and deployment plans for major software updates.
    • Develop and support implementation of policies and procedures to ensure Apple technologies are deployed and maintained consistently across the enterprise.
    • Bash scripting
    • Creating and deploying packages using JAMF software
    • Managing iOS devices using JAMF software. 
    • Knowledge of Apple VPP & DEP.

     

  •  Preferred Additional knowledge:

    • Experience with two-factor authentication solutions (PIV Card) for Mac. (Direct experience with YubiKey, Centrify, Nomad PKI, Jamf connect a plus.)
    • Experience operating and integrating Mac and iOS devices in Windows environment, understanding Kerberos, ADFS/SAML, Active Directory, Certificates and Single Sign On.
    • Experience with integrating Jamf and SCCM
    • Working knowledge of Active Directory - account lockouts, binding and unbinding, adding and removing computers.
    • Experience with Apple Remote Desktop 

     

Training and Certifications:  -

- CompTIA A+ certification (strongly desired).
- Apple certification – Apple Certified Support Professional (strongly desired).
- JAMF certification – Certified Casper Technician (CCT) (strongly desired).
- JAMF certification – Certified Casper Administrator (CCA) (desired).
