I am trying to automatically log users out that leave their MacBook Neos locked/close the lid, etc. - We have situations where that device might need to be loaned out in the short term.
The only switch I can see (which appears to only work when the user is logged in) is an inactivity check/idle timer in the config profile for JAMF Connect.
The agent and system daemon scripts to log out the user are successful, but they only launch from AFTER the user logs in, so neither will work for this scenario (or at least it seems like it?)
We are hoping to solve this locked device issue with a process - The on-site technicians can power off the device, power on, and start fresh at the JAMF connect screen. This OS version (Tahoe 26.5) keeps the state and user during power off, so we are stuck with a device that can only be used by one person (that may not be around to unlock it).
I checked this forum, and most of the posts revolved around scripts that fired after the user was logged in as well. Thanks again for any assistance/details you can provide!
