Jamf Teacher question: How do you handle substitute teachers?

Current customer wants subs to have access to manage the student devices. Anyone have a workflow for this?

I am currently working with another product we use for Incidents, inventory, and invoicing to give Subs temporary access to check devices in and out plus input incidents. I have not tried doing this with Jamf School yet, i also am not sure i would like subs to have access to Jamf school except maybe to clear teacher restrictions. 

 

Now if this is for Subs in the classroom, our current work around is the Teacher leaves there ipad for the sub in there classroom. This gives them the ability to still use Jamf Teacher. 

 

If they are a long term sub due to a teacher being out for an extended absence, we add them as a co-teacher in our SIS and then prep them there own device so they have access to all of the classes that way. 

 

Having a temp sub access for Jamf would be great. I know Clever started doing something for subs where teachers can give them a QR code for temp access to there Clever portal items.
