Question

copy Local Mac Users profile directory with Azure AD integration

Forum|alt.badge.img+4

Hi,
Whats the best way after implementing JamfConnect and Azure AD to copy the old users local profile data to the newly created local user that is synced with Azure AD?

When the user logins in for the first time with his/her Azure credentials it creates a new local mac user account and its a fresh profile.

There is a option for the Jamf Connect config profile to migrate on sign in. It's the Migrate key. So after signing into Azure via Jamf Connect it'll ask which account would you like to connect with. If there already exists at least one local account on the Mac. I've tested it a couple of times and it seems to work.

Hi robbo007, what was your experience with it like as I am quite likely to be needing something like this in the near future?
