We have gotten some feedback from users that are working remotely about our Macs imaged through Jamf Connect. Users are seeing the message on their wifi, "Wi-Fi networks are currently unavailable." Users without hardline options are unable to login to the machines.
We are currently using Jamf Connect v. 2.37.0
Has anyone seen this issue before and if so, how did you resolve it?
Note: Potentially 16 machines affected as we halted production until we resolve this.

You could be hitting the following product issue.
[PI119511] The Jamf Connect login window currently displays the following message, even while computers have an active network connection: "Wi-F networks are currently unavailable".
This product issue is resolved in Jamf Connect 2.41.0 according to the release notes.

Are the users at the same location or different locations? Have the users tried known working networks like a cellphone hotspot just to see if the Mac can see the network?
I have to poke fun on this: "Macs imaged through Jamf Connect" is wrong on so many levels :). You can't "image" Macs, and "Jamf Connect" is not a management tool. Macs would be configured by Jamf Pro and have Jamf Connect installed as a part of the configuration.

Ended up being the issue. We are upgrading our Jamf Connect version now so we won't run into it again.
Thank you!

Well, as TWF informed here, we able to upgrade to 2.42.0 the latest Jamf Connect and the Problem still persist.
"Allow network selection" is activated on the configuration Profile. it work as normal if we login one second time with the local Account.
Anyone an idea what can cause this?

This issue still persist even with version 2.43.0. We researched on web and looks it's not fully solved until July 24. Yes, we have workaround but it's impacting onboarding and someone should be giving us ETA...

Yes, seeing with with an M4 Mac mini and M4 MacBook Pro running Sonoma 15.2 and and JC 2.43. Could I ask what you're doing as a workaround?

I'm still having this issue and would love to know what you are using as a work around for now.

Running into this issue as well with JC 2.43. ADE process starts on M3 MBAs running Sequoia. Wifi selection then remote management appears as expected. No user creation in setup assistant. JC is installed during prestage, and as soon as JC's first login window appears, wifi is disconnected and network selection is unavailable.

Taylor,
Let us know please what Jamf's workaround/solution is. My only way around this was to use an ethernet adapter. Then I was able to uninstall it. IMO Connect here recently seems to be more problematic. I have our users on patch management roll out so they will receive the latest version as Connect is constantly updating.
In previous versions I use to be able to uninstall Connect using Terminal in Recovery deleting the different databases now I can't even do that...
cd /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/var/db
I am curious if I exclude the 1 machine / computer (in my case) out of all of the configuration profiles regarding Jamf Connect (I have 3) if I can login locally.

This week we ended up upgrading our dev instance to 11.14 and our JC package to 2.44. This resolved the wifi missing issue. We are going to test in our prod environment to see if everything continues working.

Jamf Connect 2.45.0 released 3/6/2025 now includes the following fix:
[PI121901, PI123774] The Jamf Connect login window no longer incorrectly displays "Wi-Fi networks are currently unavailable" during login, and now correctly indicates which network is currently selected on computers running macOS 15 Sequoia.

Thank You, I will wait for Jamf to update it in the Jamf App Catalog.
