There used to be a script out there if our clients got a APAPA that it would bounce the WiFi is there a script out there anymore?

You would want a launch daemon looking at the network config mostly likely kicking off a script that checks to see if it has a 169.x.x.x address and sends a networksetup command to turn off airport and turn it back on.

I'd be concerned that you would need to implement something like this. You might need to take a look at your DHCP or WiFi infrastructure to see if there is a centralized issue.
