Folks,
Okay we are at our limit trying to figure out our 443 traffic issues with the JSS we have installed on win 2012 r2 server with IIS.
We have two servers behind a Load Balancer the 8443 traffic works without an issue to both machines our 443 traffic is only pointed to one of the two machine behind the LB that has the casper share. The one box has IIS running and doing 443 to the casper share. The cert we use is an in house generated cert created from a CSR generated in IIS and handed off to our cert creation folks. From the outside if we go to https://our.jss.url/Caspershare/Packages/filename.pkg we can download packages with out an issue. if I try the same package from self service we get a failure "An error occurred while running the policy"
Actions from policy log: [STEP 1 of 4] Executing Policy policy [STEP 2 of 4] Downloading somepackage.pkg... Downloading https://our.jss.url/CasperShare/Packages/somepackage.pkg... Error: Could not connect to the HTTP server to download somepackage.pkg.
if we point internally using SMB to the same pkg self service works fine. We are not sure what we are missing since we know that 443 traffic works from the outside as it should.
