When creating a policy, does the activation for date and time need to be set? Or can the policy run simply based on it's trigger and execution frequency?

Hi Mark,

If we leave it blank, its based on the trigger and frequency...

Thanks & Regards,
Karthikeyan

That option can be changed only for if you want to create a policy today, but not have it go live until some future date, otherwise it will be live as soon as you save it with the "Enabled" checkbox checked.
Same for the Expiration Date/Time - only used if you want a policy to automatically disable itself on a specific day and time, otherwise it will remain active or enabled forever, or until you manually disable it.
