Additional Distribution Points on Casper

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me at all,

I am trying to setup an additional distribution point with the view of using
this in our New York Office.

Our main Office is in London (Which is where our primary distribution point
is held) and we have a VPN tunnel to our New York Office

Any here is my problem

I have built a distribution point on a mac mini with OSX Server 10.6

I have setup the Netboot environment and configured the Distribution point,
I copied the packages over from our primary Distribution point to the
secondary distribution point

The problem I have now is that when i netboot a machine and attempt to build
a machine it skips all the packages and then reboots

Here is a copy of the logs

Initializing Imaging Process... Mounting afp://192.168.233.210/CasperShare.
.. Erasing Macintosh HD... Installing Mac OS 10.5 Install DVD.dmg... Setting
computer name to "T-14916-7"... Creating /private/etc/jamf.conf... Creating
/usr/sbin/jamf... Creating Startup Script... Creating
/usr/sbin/jamfvnc... Creating
jamfHelper... Ensuring Apple's Setup Assistant does not appear... Creating
First Run Script... Adding line to Update ByHost Files... Adding line to
Create user administrator... Blessing System... Ensuring system files are
hidden...

I just cant work this out, everything looks correct AFP works fine. I have
tested this by trying to connect to the share using another mac and all
works fine

Its as if Casper Imaging can not find the packages....please help!

Thanks

Abz

Looks like permissions, it can't mount the DP, check casperinstall can mount it

I agree.

On a Mac in your New York office open the Terminal application and enter
"jamf help". Look for the syntax to mount a server volume and test
connecting using your Casper install account credentials. If you can get
this working then Casper should work too. Keep in mind that AFP
connections can be case-sensitive when entering the path.

Managed to fix this

it seems that the user accounts "casperadmin" and "casperinstall" had the
incorrect passwords so changed this and it seems to be working fine

Has anyone tried Distribution Point replication via VPN before?

Any advice experience would be appericiated

In total all our packages so far come upto just under 250GB
