Adobe CC 2018 fails on prod but not dev

I have tried building multiple packages for CC 2018 and they all work fine on our dev environment but they all seem to fail on our prod environment. Both environments are 10.4.1 and workflows are identical as best as I can tell.

I can see from the logs where it attemps to install:

Wed Jun 20 13:14:22 mstprtb5005-temp jamf[5978]: Installing CC Apps Mac 20-06-2018_Install.pkg.zip... Wed Jun 20 13:14:25 mstprtb5005-temp jamf[5978]: Installation failed. The installer reported: installer: Package name is CC Apps Mac 20-06-2018 installer: Installing at base path / installer: The install failed (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.)

If I cross reference this against the install.log, it seems to be failing when launching the deployment manager:

I've tried moving it about in the priority as I found a page on Adobe's webiste that suggested error 81 is caused by another Adobe install running (there can't be).

Has anyone seen this issue or have even the slightest inkling as to what the issue? I'm literally pulling out what's left of my hair!

I used to see those errors, usually there was an issue with some adobe service already running. Do you get those errors if you install on a freshly rebooted machine that is sitting at the loginwindow?

@djdavetrouble Nope, it installs fine if I install manually or via self service or policy or remote etc. It only seems to fail during the imaging process. I can't see how the mac could be running any other Adobe services at the point it tries to install as it's the first thing that's set to be installed following the initial restart after running through Jamf Imaging.

I've been through the workflows in dev and prod and they literally are identical so I'm stumped.

I think I have solved this, although I can't explain why. I was using a script someone had posted to fix the imaging black screen with High Sierra. The script is in dev and prod and obviously identical but it seemed to break the CC install on our prod environment. I've removed it and it's now working ok.
