So,

For the longest time I have had my users using preview instead of Adobe reader for PDFs. Now some genius apparently purchased software with out anyone testing it first and the app itself is hard coded to use Adobe Reader 10, only. Last I read the self heal breaks the app when running in a non admin account. Is this still the case? This is why I never push out anything past Adobe Reader 9, and was waiting on Adobe Reader 10 to become unbroken.

PS - I loathe Adobe

Thanks,

Tom

Fellow Adobe-loather here. But I will say, at least in my experience here, that I haven't had any issues deploying Adobe Reader X. The self-heal stuff seems to have been fixed.

Yup, it's been fine here as well.

Not fixed but removed altogether. Acrobat X now installs as an Apple

Bonus: throw it in Casper Admin and go!
