We have made one package in Casper Admin per Adobe package. After Cache and Install Cache we noticed the following folders inside Applications.

Adobe --> Adobe Patch Files

And the above folder contains lots of zip files. Are they going to go away?

It would be mess on the user's Macbooks if this is going to stay unless there is a reason for it.

Can someone please explain this behaviour.

I have read (but not tested) that you should not delete the files in the AdobePatchFiles directory if you plan to continually update Adobe apps. They are required for the installation of new patches.

If the AdobePatchFiles directory is deleted, the only way to apply any future patch is by reinstalling the application first.

stevevalle as long as there is a purpose for these files, it should be OK.
