Allowing Apple Intelligence Integration with Managed ChatGPT, but Disallowing Usage Without Sign-in

We want to block Apple Intelligence while not signed in to ChatGPT, but allow it to be linked to ChatGPT with a specific workspace ID.

This is because we recognize that Apple Intelligence while not linked to ChatGPT is a learning target.

Do you know anything about this control?
I know that sign-in can be managed by specifying a workspace id.

Rich Trouton has put together a great document on managing Apple Intelligence features on macOS 15.x and you’re absolutely right, it is indeed possible to allow specific Workspace IDs: https://derflounder.wordpress.com/2025/03/31/managing-apple-intelligence-features-on-macos-sequoia-1...

Which version of Jamf Pro are you currently using? The latest release (v11.15.0) includes the relevant key within the Restrictions payload under Functionality, allowing you to configure this feature directly. I have attached a screenshot for reference. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!Screenshot 2025-04-14 at 10.14.59 AM.png

Thank you. I had already set up that configuration.
However, with that setting alone, it is still possible to use ChatGPT while signed out.
If we want to use Apple Intelligence, I want to enforce signing in to ChatGPT.

@enpipi There is nothing built in to Apple's MDM settings for Apple Intelligence that will enforce what you want. In theory you could write an EA that would determine if a Mac has been signed in to one of your allowed ChatGPT IDs and use that to scope a Configuration Profile to allow/disallow ChatGPT integration, but you'd have a bit of a chicken and and situation because unless you've enable the integration it won't be possible for users to sign in.
