Looking at /private/var/db/COnfigurationProfiles/MDM_ComputerPrefs.plist
Right after imaging a system it shows "NeedsPoll". So the system does not have an APN Token immediately. After i authenticate to our proxy and reboot this file is updated with APNSTokens_Production, the JSS URL, a ProfileUUID, PushMagic, and PushToken. "com.apple.ManagedClient.enrollagent.plist" also gets created and everything is working fine.
I know what the change to our network needs to be so that the proxy doesn't get in the way initially, but i'm curious if anyone knows what initiates that "poll" so things start working. Does it ONLY occur during reboot, or can it be forced so that a poll occurs without needing to reboot? I've seen very little mention of this file and when an APN Token request occurs.
