Hi,
We've got a Mac that was in ABM but was released and re-added via Apple Configurator (for iOS). Initially, it showed in ABM and Jamf Pro but now it doesn't show in Jamf Pro, despite being attached to it in ABM.
Remove from Jamf Pro and re-allocate via ABM doesn't bring it back in to Jamf Pro.
New Token generation and re-sync doesn't bring it back in to Jamf Pro either.
Any ideas?

Do you see the device in your prestage? Is it synced and checked off?

Other devices are showing under Settings > Automated Device Enrolment and they are checked off, yes.
This device doesn't show anywhere other than in ABM.

Have you tried renewing the server token? That should force a sync. Also check to make sure its being redirected to the correct MDM if you have multiple in ABM.

Yep, tried the token renewal, successful sync and there’s only one MDM in play. Still not showing the re-added device.

If you re-enrolled in ABM with the Configurator for iPhone app, then wiped the device again within 30 days then the profile is erased and the device will be removed from ABM. Enrolling via Configurator for iPhone app is a provisional ABM enrollment and can be removed by the user via the config profile for up to 30 days and will be removed from ABM if the computer is wiped within 30 days. Thanks. So, basically release the device from ABM, wait a month and then re-enroll it? This is the only way to get it to come back??? Isn't this a process from the 90's???

No, no need to wait 30 days. Read the info in the link I sent. If the device is wiped the profile is removed, but can be wiped and added back via Configurator for iPhone app. Same if user removed the profile for whatever reason.

Yeah, this is what we did to generate the issue. Adding it back via Configurator for iPhone indicates that the device is assigned to Jamf but the device doesn't show in Jamf.

Seeing this with one device.. ticket opened with JAMF and.. there's a PI:
We just discovered new PI regarding this issue - PI119894.
We have seen some success with un-assigning the device from any server (within ABM) for 24 hours and then attempting to assign it back.
We're still looking to understand if the issue lies on the ASM/ABM< side or something within Jamf causing the devices to not show correctly.

Thanks. That's interesting. We'll try that over the weekend if there's no resolution beforehand.

Nope, got bored of waiting for it to disappear from ABM so just did a manual enrol for this one device. Not ideal but it solved the problem in the timeframe we had.
