I I try to log in with my Master Admin account, it sends a verification code to my phone, and then rejects the code on the login screen.

Got a case # to add to their Impact Report
Posted the Maintenance alert to point out that changes were clearly made, and oopsies have occurred.
Apple's advice is to try back every hour to see if it is fixed
