We are provisioning Apple TV. We have them in conference rooms and each device is to be named the name of the conference room that it is in. We have a need to retract media playback and ultimately lock them into conference room mode.
The problem I am having is once conference room is enabled (via DEP, then configuration profile), we cannot go into the device and change the name. I thought about smart groups, but there is no option for device hame (only display name, which is for users).
How do I have the least amount of administration (for my sanity) while still being locked down, but allow the field techs to change the names to the desired room?
