Good Morning,

In an effort to clean up the JSS, I am looking at creating categories for Applications, Plugins, Etc. How many of you have an existing Application policy and just make it a self service item? We have several policies for applications that I think should be in self service, without having a separate self-service policy. Is this wise?

I tend to have seperate policies for Self Service for simple reason deployment policies are usually only once per machines or once per specific time period or scoped to machines with specific conditions present and Self Service policies are generally set to ongoing to allow users to reinstall them if they need to or limited to groups of users smaller than the automated deployment.

That makes sense Look. This is how it is now. I'm just trying to avoid duplication but I don't think there is an easy way out of it.
